Pharmacy Services

The Pharmacy Services team plays a vital role in patient care at LACGH by managing and verifying medication therapies across the hospital. The department serves inpatients, select outpatient programs, and supports the satellite Cancer Centre clinic. Services include drug distribution, medication education, interdisciplinary care planning, and antimicrobial stewardship. Advanced technology such as automated medication cabinets and bedside barcode verification ensures the safe and efficient delivery of medications.

Program Details

Availability

Pharmacy services are integrated into patient care for all admitted individuals and some outpatient programs, such as oncology. Access is coordinated through clinical teams; patients do not need to independently book or visit the Pharmacy Department.
