Outpatient Specialty Clinic

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine focused on the physical, emotional, and developmental health of infants, children, and teenagers. At Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, our pediatric clinics support families by offering regular access to specialized care close to home. Conditions treated may be medical (e.g. infections, asthma, growth concerns) or behavioural (e.g. ADHD, developmental delays).

Eligibility

Pediatric consultations are available by referral from a family physician or primary care provider.

Preparation / What to Bring

  • Your child’s Ontario Health Card (OHIP)
  • A list of current medications, including over-the-counter or herbal products
  • Immunization record (if applicable)
  • Any relevant medical history or school reports
  • A list of questions or concerns you wish to discuss with the pediatrician

Where to Go

Pediatric clinics are held within the outpatient clinic areas at LACGH. Please check in at the registration kiosk upon arrival or follow signage to the Outpatient Reception Desk.

Referral & Booking Information

Patients require referral from their family physician.
Referrals are reviewed by the pediatrician’s office, and appointments are booked directly with families.
