About LACGH

Lennox & Addington County General Hospital (LACGH) is a cornerstone of our community, delivering compassionate care, advanced health services, and a commitment to quality that sets us apart.

Who We Are

LACGH plays a central role in providing core healthcare services to our community. Our emphasis on general medicine and general surgery is complemented by specialty clinics delivered by visiting Kingston-based specialists, with the scope of services continuing to expand as the hospital grows.

We operate 52 beds, including:

Acute Care

Long-term Care

Palliative Care

Level 2 Intensive Care

Emergency services operate 24/7 and serve more than 26,000 patients annually.

LACGH offers a robust outpatient program, including clinics in General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Urology, and Plastic Surgery, as well as active Cardiac Rehabilitation, Respiratory Rehabilitation, and Diabetes Education programs. Our recently updated Chemotherapy suite and comprehensive diagnostic services, supported by a well-equipped laboratory and imaging department, further enhance patient care.

Our dedicated team of approximately 330 staff and medical professionals includes family physicians, specialists in emergency medicine and anesthesia, general internists, general surgeons, radiologists, and consulting specialists from Kingston.

Our commitment is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care close to home. Our state-of-the-art facility enables us to maintain and expand services to meet the evolving needs of Lennox and Addington and surrounding townships. Our staff and volunteers are proud of our hospital’s culture of continuous quality improvement and dedication to treating every patient and visitor with the utmost care and respect.
